Learning formats in nectar LMS
The following formats can be created or integrated as independent learning elements in the nectar LMS and evaluated in the statistics:
- Tests
Numerous types of questions allow you to create versatile knowledge quizzes. The testing function offers the ability to create question pools (optionally with random question selection), assign weightings to questions, and conduct anonymous evaluations.
- Courses
E-learning courses (web-based training) can be uploaded to the nectar LMS in SCORM format (SCORM 1.2 & SCORM 2004 3rd Edition), made available to learners and subjected to detailed statistical evaluation.
- Feedbacks
Feedbacks allow you to control surveys in the LMS and, similar to tests, can be created with different question formats, such as single choice.
- Seminars
Seminars (in-person or virtual) can be created and managed in the nectar LMS. Seminar management includes features for meeting management (e.g., integrated calendar, ical integration, instructor roles, recurring meetings) and participant management (certificate management, approval functions, reservations).
- Pages
Pages in the nectar LMS can be freely designed with text, images, links, and optionally an attached document. They also offer a Read & Sign function and can be analyzed statistically.
- Films (mp4) & Podcasts (mp3)
Videos or podcasts can be easily viewed in the LMS using the integrated video and audio player and, thanks to precise tracking of the processing status, can be statistically evaluated in detail.
- Office-Documents (ppt/ pptx, doc/ docx, xls/ xlsx)
Office documents can also be uploaded as standalone learning elements and made available to learners via the integrated player.
- PDF-Dokuments
PDF documents as learning elements can be uploaded and also written on using both the keyboard and a digital pen.
- Interactive content
H5P files can be integrated as interactive content, giving learners access to videos that display questions or additional information during playback.
- Curriculum
All learning elements listed here can be grouped into modular course series, with the option of specifying a fixed learning path.
- Learning boxes
Learning boxes can be used in almost the same way as course series. However, while course series require versioning when changes are made, learning boxes offer greater flexibility.
In addition, documents and media can be made available in the “Media pool” area as supplementary materials for the respective learning elements.
