Media in nectar LMS
Under the tab “Films/Podcasts” under Content, you will find all media that has been created in this client of your LMS. Here with a click on “New Media” it is possible to upload new mp3 and mp4 files into your LMS as learning elements (1). For more about creating media see: Creating Films and Podcasts in nectar LMS.
It is also possible to create templates for future uploads (2) which can be viewed in the templates tab (4).
In the overview table, you will see all active media items (3). Deleted media items are visible under the “Deleted” tab (5). Media items are able to be recreated after deletion or permanently removed to free up storage space.
The table itself can be exported into an Excel, CSV, or PDF file, copied, or printed out (6). The table columns themselves can be likewise adapted to preferred visibility and order (7). With the search function, it is possible to search each individual column (8).
The main actions that can be undertaken in the course overview table are:
- Edit existing media (9)
- Copy media, and (10)
- See the current assignments of this piece of media by group, curriculum and learner (11)
